Washington Township (Bergen County) passes smokefree parks ordinance on 1st reading

The Pascack Valley Community Life reported that on March 24 the Washington Township Council (Bergen County) passed on 1st reading an ordinance that will ban smoking at all municipal parks and recreational areas. The ordinance’s 2nd reading is in April.
