Gloucester, N.J. recently adopted a smoking ban for a three-block commercial strip in an attempt to clean up and revitalize the area. The town not only adopted a smoking ban but has acquiring three properties with about $540,000 in state and federal funds, and will put in decorative streetlights and flowering plants.
