Revel sold to Glenn Straub

Glenn Straub’s Polo North Country Club’s purchase of Revel casino and hotel in Atlantic City was finalized by a bankruptcy court this week. Straub paid only $82 million, or 4 cents on the dollar of the original building cost.
Straub plans to have a smaller casino and develop nongaming sports entertainment facilities at the site, as well as redevelop the area. He also purchased Showboat casino next door a week ago.
