Hawaii awaits Governor’s signature on a law banning tobacco an e-cigarette sales to persons under age 21

On April 24, 2015, the Hawaii legislature passed a bill that will ban the sale of tobacco and electronic smoking devices to persons under age 21.  Hawaii would be the first state in the USA to do such a law.  Hawaii County in Hawaii already has such a law in place. It awaits Governor David Ige’s signature.

On June 19, 2015 Governor Ige signed the bill raising the legal smoking age to 21.
