Golden Colorado bans smoking on public sidewalks, and at outdoor recreational areas.

Golden Colorado’s City Council voted unanimously to ban smoking on all sidewalks on and around Washington Avenue effective Jan. 1, 2015. This includes all e-cigarettes and vaporizers. The ban also includes all city parks, trails and public events. The Fossil Trace Golf Course and Clear Creek RV Park also under the restriction. If a person is caught smoking in these areas, it could result in a $50 fine.
