Columbia Missouri bans tobacco and e-cigarette sales to persons under age 21, bans e-cigarette use inside public places and workplaces

On December 16, 2014, the Columbia City Council in Missouri voted 6-1 to raise the age of selling tobacco and electronic smoking devices (ESDs) to age 21. No one under the age of 21 will be sold tobacco or ESDs once the law takes effect. The law also bans the use of ESDs inside public buildings. Read more in the Maneater’s story.
