New York News 1 reported on New York City Councilmembers seeing a need to regulate the use and sale of hookah. The City Council’s Health Committee met on February 25, 2016 to gather information, including testimony from GASP Executive Director Karen Blumenfeld, Esq. New York News 1 interviewed Dr. Michael Weitzman from New York University on research his team conducted to on the health concerns with hookah smoking.
