Bogota N.J.’s Parks Go Smokefree

On April 16, 2015, Bogota’s Mayor and Council voted in favor of an ordinance making all municipal park and recreational areas 100% smokefree. See Bogota Bulletin news story.
GASP provided educational technical assistance to the town, once the Mayor and Council learned about how a 100% smokefree parks ordinance can earn the community points for its Sustainable Jersey certification, plus benefit the community from health, economic and environmental ways.
