Princeton ready to douse smoking on municipally-owned public outdoor sites

Posted on

Princeton Council has proposed an ordinance to ban smoking on municipal property, at town-owned public parks and at outside pools. The ban would cover all municipal areas, buildings, parks and entrances to pools. Smokers would have to move 35 feet away. Read the March 3, 2013 Times of Trenton news article about the proposed ban.

Outdoor bans for beaches, parks and recreational areas continue to proliferate around the state. Visit our webpage with more information on Outdoor Smokefree Environments.
