U.S. News & World Report Health article examines the growth in hookah use among young adults and the concern over how unhealthy this practice is. According to a study published in Pediatrics in July, one in 5 high school seniors in the United States has smoked hookah sometime in the past year. A study published in Nursing Research, found that the majority of young adults 18 to 30 who smoke hookah think it’s safe.
