New Jersey school districts add ban on electronic smoking devices to school policies

Posted on

The New Jersey Smokefree Air Act bans smoking, including the use of electronic smoking devices, on all K-12 public and private school property, including the outdoor grounds. But some school districts in the State are also including the ban in their school district policy as well. The New Jersey School Boards Association (NJSBA) is also encouraging policies be amended to include electronic smoking devices. SeeHillsborough Patch news story on the Hillsborough school district.
