Metuchen NJ Considers Smoking Ban

Posted on

Metuchen officials are considering the possibility of banning smoking on certain properties in the borough, such as parks and recreation areas. Councilwoman Allison Inserro reintroduced the issue at the recent October 20, 2014 Borough Council meeting as she felt that the council would move forward with an ordinance that bans smoking in parks and recreation areas, and creates a 50-foot nosmoking zone around borough buildings.

More about this ordinance can be read at the Sentinel.
