Florham Park council votes 3-3 for an outdoor parks and recreational areas smoking ban

The smoking ban for parks and recreational areas, up for a vote by the Florham Park Common Council at last night’s meeting, did not pass. The mayor was absent from the meeting, leaving the vote as a 3-3 tie. Read the article from the Florham Park Press. Councilman Fred Boy plans to reintroduce the ordinance again next year.
