City of Sulphur Bans Smoking in Bars and Casinos

In Sulphur, Louisiana, an ordinance was passed to ban smoking in bars and casinos on Monday April 13, 2015. This ban includes e-cigarettes and vaping. Supporters of the change said it’s a step in the right direction to ensure a safe working environment for everyone. The law will go into effect in 30 days from April 13. There will be a 60 day grace period to give businesses enough time to apply for variances.
