Bogota NJ moves forward with smokefree parks

On April 16, the Bogota Town Council will vote on 2nd reading an ordinance that makes all municipal parks and recreational areas 100% smokefree.  When Bogota considered raising the age of tobacco sales to 21, GASP educated Councilwoman Fede on the trend of smokefree parks in Bergen County and statewide.  Councilwoman Fede decided to sponsor the ordinance being proposed for smokefree parks in town, and had the town’s Green Team review the information as well.
