Belleville bans smoking in public parks and recreational facilities (Belleville Times, Roman J. Uschak)

On June 9, the Belleville Township Council unanimously approved an ordinance to ban smoking in municipal parks and recreational facilities. GASP Executive Karen Blumenfeld, Esq. attended the meeting to express her gratitude and also gave the town smokefree park signs for the town to display in the parks. The ordinance also bans smoking within a 35-foot radius of entrances and exits of municipal buildings.
