About UsGASP has a rich history of promoting a smokefree environment in New Jersey and beyond. Click a link to learn more. We play an active role in tobacco control. Our organization's activities support initiatives in Europe as well as the US. Our programs continue to educate and to service those who want to breathe air free from carcinogenic tobacco smoke. Since 1974 we have become a leader in tobacco control initiatives. GASP provides expert information, guidance, and technical assistance about policy, legislation, and litigation on the sales, marketing and use of tobacco. We consult with colleagues and the public-at-large on smoking related issues. Contact us if we can be of service. We have loyal members, dedicated staff, an exemplary advisory board, and a prestigious Board of Trustees led by our President Dr. Fred M. Jacobs, former NJ Commissioner of Health and Senior Services. Feel free to read our President's message, learn more about GASP's current goals and methods, or learn more about GASP's grants and awards. View some pictures from our 2009 Gala or our 2008 Annual Meeting. We thank
our loyal members and other generous contributors including the NJ Department
of Health and Senior Services, the US Center for Disease Control, and
the F.M. Kirby Foundation. We
hope you will consider supporting GASP, a
tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Best regards, Karen Blumenfeld,
