to our website. We have been striving for smokefree workplaces,
public places, and schools, as well as children's home environments,
since 1974. We are slowly winning our right to smokefree
air.
But
we need all the help we can get to change the image of secondhand
smoke from acceptable and only a minor nuisance, to the
danger it really is. Secondhand smoke kills more than 65,000
Americans every year. Even low exposures can trigger heart
attacks.
The
more members we have, the more influential we can be. Therefore,
